Johnny Huynh

Johnny’s research analyzes U.S. policy issues related to health and labor economics. He is interested in applying econometric models to questions of health care access and inequity, especially among veterans and racial minorities. What underlies his work is a passion to improve population health through rigorous evaluation of social policies.

Johnny is committed to advancing health equity. As the son of Vietnamese refugees, he understands that, currently, where you live determines how long you will live. He seeks to conduct research that recognizes the role of families, work, and schools in building healthier communities.
