Gregory Powers is the Deputy Director of Health Policy Research Scholars, managing the program’s operations, logistics, finances, recruitment, and scholar support. Prior to coming to Johns Hopkins University, he worked in public health policy, program management, and communications for the Center for Health and Research Transformation at the University of Michigan, care management data and analytics for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and health policy and patient engagement for American Institutes for Research. Gregory holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from West Virginia University.
