Addressing Discrimination Abroad

As a health education PhD student at the University of Michigan, Kristefer Stojanovski is working to elucidate and present health issues through a human rights framework. A former Fulbright grantee to Macedonia, Kristefer focuses on sexual and mental disparities among sexual and gender minorities in the United States and the Balkans.

This November, as part of the European Public Health Association’s Annual Conference, Kristefer travelled to Stockholm, Sweden, to present on the impact of discrimination on sexual minorities in Macedonia.
