FOCUS
Tania’s research focuses on sexual and mental health, as well as the disproportionate impacts of stigma on marginalized people. She is interested in understanding how individuals’ engagement with their social networks impacts their healthcare usage. Through studying healthcare-related disclosure patterns, she hopes we can learn from informal networks to improve and shift our approach to community-based healthcare. Through her work, Tania seeks to improve the existing disparities in conditions and support given to survivors of sexual violence.
